So often we can approach people and automatically jump to the conclusion that God is about us and against those that we are against. But what if it’s not like that at all? Imagine hearing God tell you, “I’m not about your side. In fact, you’re supposed to be about me and mine.” This doesn’t mean that God isn’t for us (see Romans 8:31) because he is. He loves us and is not against us. But he is not about our side as we stand against others.

Here are some things that stood out to me as I looked at Joshua 5:13-14 (and please forgive me that I said Joshua 4 at the beginning of the podcast – sometimes my mouth just says things without asking me first). I pray that this is an encouragement to you as you continue to walk with Jesus.
